Dr. Kent Harper

For some reason this account got stuck in Read-Only mode for a while. I'm not even sure how long, because I only discovered it when I was doing "checking in" posts on various journals to ensure they are viewed as active. But it's fixed now. Not that paid/perm accounts are counted when activity checks are done (or at least, they're not supposed to be) but still. Hi. Still swamped by school (where, unlike this bloke, I'm still a student) and still wishing I had more time to RP. Miss y'all.

Note: This was originally posted to a locked community, but since it appears that the game may not be lasting -- and since the content is PG at worst -- I'm reposting it here for posterity. It was played out on Tuesday, December 23rd and Wednesday, December 24th, but all of it takes place on December 23rd.

It was bad enough coming in from Louisiana to Washington State -- an entirely different climate -- when the weather was good. Add in a snowstorm, and things started getting bad indeed. Add in a lot of bags AND a Russian tortoise in a pet carrier and it was pure chaos. Only the fact that Kent offered the cabbie a very generous tip if the man would help him with his luggage saved the situation.
